Honestly, I’m confused why you listen to random YouTube advice instead of the expert advice you’ve been given here on the forum.
There’s a park in your area with 2 soccer fields that need wayspots that i pointed out to you last December. They still haven’t been added.
A barbershop can be a good submission. It may make a great wayspot. However this is far from a slam dunk.
Think about the criteria. Which one(s) does “just a local barber shop” meet? Historically - especially in certain cultures and ethnic groups - barber and beauty shops were places where the men (and women) would socialize, talk, share stories and gossip. That’s largely a figment of the past now. It’s rare. Reviewers won’t likely know about this.
Your challenge is to show and prove to reviewers that this “just a local barbershop” is a great place to be social. I don’t see that being an easy feat.
The park and soccer fields are easier nominations.
First, you must be able to explain what kind of experience can be had at that local barbershop. Many barbershops are places people go to get their hair trimmed. In NianticWayfarer, a Wayspot is eligible as a place where one can experience exploration, sociability, or exercise. Is this barbershop operating to provide an experience that meets any of these three eligibility criteria? Please consider this.
Before nature took away my need for a hairdressers 
I used to hate the chat… I came for an haircut, why do you want to know where I am going for my holidays…
Even though some places did have a small “social” element I still think that you go for the hair cut, I don’t think the fact that you have a chat whilst there is enough to convince not to Reject.
“Local barber shop for men” is like “Local Walmart”.
If there is anything interesting about this place, write about it. If not, pick a better spot.
Dang bro, didn’t mean it that way, I’m just learning man. I saw a YouTube tutorial from a guy that seemed credible, so I tried it out, then went for the forum for confirmation. I’m trying my hardest to become better, some people do nothing to better themselves. And for the park spots, I’d definitely nominate them, I just haven’t been to that park in a while. I’m sorry I can’t dedicate my life to this, I simply went for a haircut and to thought it would be good based on things I’ve seen in the past.
I don’t think that @seaprincesshnb was meaning to be nasty, She has never come across that way with my conversations in the past.
We do get many post on here with the “Someone on Facebook / reddit / twitter said” or “my mate that has played PoGo since the beginning said” even “I heard somewhere…”.
We often hear stories here where someone states they got banned for nothing, get a DM from staff informing them what they did so they go to the other outlets where they can’t be corrected by staff.
It is great to hear that you are wanting to learn and you have come to the right place.
