Belgium bike trail markers - are these eligible?

I got bored of having nothing to review in the UK, so picked somewhere in Europe, since there were no posts for bonus locations except one with only a handful of submissions to last 3 months.

First review is this. I cannot remember if these are considered eligible or not. Can anyone confirm?

Wayfarer team sees this as basic infrastructure.

Every one of these signs with a number as the route (a shame IMO)

Do note that the community usually accepts these kind of nominations as I see them pop-up in places regularly. So your rating might drop, have issues with that as well.

We have staff noting that these are infrastructure and not official trail markers:

Even doing a search on the forums for Belgium bike trail markers brings up a good deal of Wayspot Appeals asking for restoration of Wayspots, but they are almost never restored.

I’m still struggling with the different types of trail markers in the Belgium area. To make it worse, I came across this, which was described as a trail marker but is (based on scouring lampposts on streetview) a lamppost ID.

I rejected as abuse.

This is indeed a lamppost ID Number.

Not a trailmarker, would have rejected for abuse as well

I had something similar in the UK, it even stated that “If there is a fault, call 0123…”, not sure what a fault with a trail would be unless it is a missing sign which then you wouldn’t see the message to report

Reported on 1 of the forms where I received a reply stating “doesn’t meet removal criteria”, I had to send a reply stating it is a fake POI as it is not what it states to be…

It’s hard work sometimes… :frowning:
