I think the blog post mentions them, but right at the end, so if someone is not interested in Wayfarer, I doubt they’d get that far in a news post all about it.
This is the official announcement with no link or mentioning of rewards. I replied with the blog post after looking around a bit.
I meant not mention of what they were, vague I mean.
People asked me because they didn’t know.
The challenge is based on contributions, not resolutions. I am assuming contributions are referring reviews. We do not know how many reviews it take to reach a resolution. Let’s say, it takes 10 review to reach a resolution, we would potentially have roughly 9,000 contributions so far. Obviously, this is hypothetical and there are other factors, like reviews done before the challenge.
My main point here is that just due to us having resolved 918 nominations so far does not necessarily mean the community would not hit the goals, since it is based on contributions & not resolutions.
I think this is confusing because the community banner is clearly referring to resolutions & not contributions.
I’m pretty sure its based on resolutions of contributions. That doesn’t mean “approvals,” a rejection is a resolution as long as it gets an answer.
Yes, even in pokémon go live it says resolved.
If you look at the May challenge for example, it does specifically say Resolution as opposed to Contributions. Maybe, they both mean the same thing, but it is still odd to use different terminology between the two of them.
Thanks. I was not aware the Pokemon Go Live specifically say resolved. I just wonder why the challenge rewards say contributions. It is confusing, because I do not think those words normally mean the same thing.
Oh, I see the part that say Contributions Resolved now. I just saw Contributions and my brain did not see the Resolved part.
Whew. I was like, “Um, how do it explain it differently…”
Cheers!
What did I miss?
It would be nice if this was advertised elsewhere. I don’t even think PoGo Hub or some of the other big PoGo sites/accounts have. That would be a good thing to do, especially since there are PoGo only prizes.
Based on the latest post from PVPoke, I suspect many Pokemon Go fan sites are looking to withdraw from X (Formerly known as Twitter), so I am guessing that we won’t necessarily get the announcements that we all want on specific events.
A lot of accounts are leaving, so not surprising. Still, there are other ways to get the info out there then the social media site formerly known as Twitter, but it’s a popular site in Brazil.
I have brazil as my bonus location and It’d be nice if the brazilian spots were a little more common. I’ve been at this for an hour and have seen a cold zero brazilian submissions. I’ve maxed out my skips for all three days and am still at 12 total for the challenge.
Hello,
If you just changed your location during the challenge, you will not be able to participate. This was clarified in the News post:
What do you mean by they won’t be able to participate?
I had asked at the start about this. I asked staff if we changed our bonus location during the challenge if we would be able to participate. Tintino clarified this both in a post here, as well as adding it to the News post.
It was further clarified here, again by Tintino:
If they had their bonus location set to Brazil before the start of the challenge, they will get to review in the challenge. If they changed their bonus location after the challange started, they won’t be able to participate.
They didn’t say when they changed their bonus location to Brazil, but this is what Tintino clarified to us at the beginning. I’m just giving them the clarification, just in case it was after the start. If not, I’m thinking they are getting more home location nominations to review instead of bonus location, which could be an issue. I know that I don’t always get nominations and edits from my bonus location unless I’m actually at said location.
