What were the rejection reasons? if it got denied in the first 48 hours then it might have been the ML program. It has problems with certain looking photos.
This submission was declined by Niantic’s automated process for not adhering to Wayfarer criteria
Oof yep. The Machine Learning system tends not to like certain kinds of photos. Admittedly stained glass can be hard to photograph well. This is one of the few waypoints that might do better with a night time photo. Either see if you can get a photo from inside the building or outside at night when the lights are on.
The rest of the nomination looks good but the supporting photo would be better if it actually showed the window you are nominating. Generally we suggest the 20/80 rule for photos. Main photo should have the object be 80% or more of the photo with 20% surroundings. Supporting photo has the object as 20% of the photo and the surroundings as 80%.
ok ill try to get a picture tonight

Considering how many nominations we can get now, I’d start with another photo and if that also gets denied then use the appeal. Save appeals for when you really need them.
I would not have recommended trying the stained glass window without some kind of link to an artist or special significance to the piece. This just looks like part of the church building to me.
fyi, you misspelled “angel” as “angle” in the title. And that isn’t an angel, that is a shepherd.
The church itself would be a much easier nomination. I would take a photo of the church sign to submit the church. Don’t use this street view snip, but something like this.
Then you could try to submit the bell tower, which is a bit less likely to be accepted separately from the church, but looks distinct to me from street view.
This is where the pins would naturally go, and that puts them into separate unoccupied L17 S2 cells.
While you are there taking photos, you should visit the American Legion across the street if it is still there. Those are usually pretty easy to get accepted, and it is also in an empty cell. The Gregory Memorial Auditorium entrance is in the same cell as Gregory gorilla, but might have something inside you could submit.
