I agree — if the reward is not just good but very good, it raises the concern of pokémon players cheesing wayfarer voting on a whole new level. So, since this post is focused on rewards, I just added what might look interesting :slightly_smiling_face:

However, how to deter cheesing is an interesting topic too. Perhaps the reward could be time-gated, like requiring reviewers to vote on 150 different days within a year and maintain a good rating. Or maybe the reward should require a wayfarer bingo — correctly rejecting ineligible nominations for 20 different reasons.

In addition to more rewards, the voting process itself could be improved to make it more enjoyable and meaningful:

  1. Let reviewers enjoy the process more (for example, filter what system gives in assigned review batches).
  2. Notice that not everyone finds the answer (lbvs) to the question “Why should we care about Wayfarer and voting?” — and help them find it.
