I don’t understand why my request for change of title of a building is not accepted, when it is very clear that the company that formerly owned the building (Nykredit) have moved out, and a new company has moved in. Even the signs on the building have been changed, see photo, but still my request gets rejected. I have also tried to update the photos for the wayspot.
Should I get other players to sent chance request as well?

This type of edit is considered “repurposing” and can be considered abuse. Since the original Wayspot has changed, this should be reported for removal.
The weird exception to the repurposing rule is murals. You can submit an edit to update when a mural has changed. I don’t get that, but it is what Niantic staff have said.
I am trying to locate this on the map. If the Wayspot is the building, then you could possibly get the edit accepted on appeal with evidence of the name change.

To me, this is clearly important because of the building rather than the company, but the in game name and lack of description does not make that clear. I see why the Wayfarer team thought the title change was repurposing.
I hope staff will weigh in and tell you how to proceed. I would probably use the form at the top under “Wayspot Removals” which can also be used for modifications. I would explain the situation and request that the name should be changed to reflect the building, “The Crystal”. I would link the Wikipedia page.
Be aware they could decide to remove the Wayspot. If they do, you can resubmit it as an architectural work of art. Then it won’t matter if the building changes hands.

Agree with Cyndie - the correct route here is to refocus the PoI onto the architecture not which company currently owns it. Via a form so that you don’t get in trouble, because repurposing is this wierd secret rule that niantic never talk about until someone gets in trouble for it
