Clarification on why this was rejected

Well the first issue I see is that there are already two Wayspots for playgrounds here:

I would have a lot of trouble accepting a third nomination of the playground.

If you do believe this is distinct from the other two, you are going to need to clearly show that with your main photo. I can’t think of any way to capture this distinctness in a photo than with a sign.

But this clarification states that playgrounds should be submitted as a whole, with possible exceptions:

Playgrounds

Playgrounds meet the criteria for exercise, exploration, and socialization, and as long as they are not located on single-family private residential property or K-12 schools can be considered eligible. Playgrounds should be nominated as whole and not individual playground items. Even if the area includes separate slides, climbing frames, sandboxes and or swings, there should be one Wayspot nomination marking them all as a collection.
