Hello Community, I would like some clarity on why this was rejected so i can avoid making these errors in the future.
From my understanding of what I have gathered being a nominator (open to being corrected) is it possibly from accidently capturing children in my supporting photo?
In my defense, the park is always busy. i made sure to not capture any persons in the main photo as much as possible but catching the surround area proved a more difficult task. this isn’t your average park. It has a “pirate ship theme” deck that goes along the perimeter of this play area called " Imagination Playground" which is located within “Betsy Head Park”. This deck connects all the areas within “Imagination Playground” making it accessible in 1 route. Theres only 2 ways in and 2 ways out for the safety of everyone in this area so safety shouldn’t be a concern.
The area in question is more designated for family with minors while it’s not off limits to any persons. right next to it this area toddler swings as well as seating you can tell by the play structures via the main picture. my supporting photo was supposed to show that the area i nominated was accurately in the bottom right corner of the park and was indeed connected to this “deck”
But as it stands it was rejection, i just request clarity to avoid future errors, thank you
I would have a lot of trouble accepting a third nomination of the playground.
If you do believe this is distinct from the other two, you are going to need to clearly show that with your main photo. I can’t think of any way to capture this distinctness in a photo than with a sign.
But this clarification states that playgrounds should be submitted as a whole, with possible exceptions:

i see your point of view ! yes with this insight it will provide a more difficult task, while i can take a picture to show clearly show this side of the park is different, not capturing person in that photo is impossible due to the popularity of the park.
Some people might reject because face. But i am guessing most will pick duplicate. Frankly i also have experience on taking photo like this. I can wait for hours and i still cant guarantee i can get clear photo without people. But people, especially if the face is clearly identifiable is a big no for most people
Yes i can see your point of view on why it would be considered a duplicate, i have to basic photos around show the distinct would its a more difficult task. theres already a wayspot in that area your ask about
I would also recommend submitting the sport courts. but you will want to explain in your supporting photo how reviewers can be assured that these are not the “creative courts” which are already a wayspot.
OH! there is a Wayspot that is not a portal there! I bet that was a courts of the world import that does not show on iitc.

Right the imports from courtsoftheworld.com for that NBA game they sunset don’t show on iitc. Makes me so mad when a basketball court can’t go live in Ingress because of that. Maybe the separation will fix that problem
will stop confusing you now with why we weren’t seeing the wayspot there. looks like someone has added a photo of something else besides a court to it here but you can see it was supposed to be a basketball court
