The exclamation points on the nomination map say they are Wayspots that may be used in other games, but they aren’t always, as the other Scopely games rarely have regular syncs. Most likely they are either Wayspots that are in the same L17 S2 cell as another that is already a stop/gym in PoGo, or an imported Power Spot. I’m thinking that the appliance store is an imported Power Spot, as many of those have had some incorrect info or just no longer exist.
You can request removals for Power Spots that no longer exist. I’ve done this for an area where I live that used to have a K-Mart and Sears appliance store, and every so often these will pop up as Power Spots, even though those closed in 2019 and the site has been redeveloped into a small shopping plaza and an apartment building.
