I’m having a constant issue with updating an extremely out of date pokestop. I’ve taking up to date photos, name corrections, etc. It’s constant denied and I don’t get why. Why is this happening?
This location has never been a smokehouse (that is next door and not at the location of the gps location.) and it’s now a Mexican restaurant anyway.
My location is now a chiropractic office and has been for a few years.
Here are the current photos for the gps tag according to Google maps. And it includes showing the current stop was named incorrectly and they’re two separate locations.
I’ll request for removal and submit correct information for a new updated stop. This town has a significant amount of renamed businesses yearly. Wish it was easier to just update current spots.

Niantic considers changing a Wayspot from one business to another as abuse. The word they use is “repurposing.”

You should report the current location as removed. If you feel the Mexican restaurant is eligible, then you can submit that. The chiropractic office does not seem eligible.
If your removal report is rejected, there is a section on the forum here where you can add more evidence
So this place has never been a smokehouse. The location was a Japanese restaurant at one time and had been changed to a chiropractic office. The location that is a smokehouse is no longer a smokehouse and has been changed to a Mexican restaurant.

Sorry you wasted an appeal on this, but glad you found how to do that.
I have a tool installed that presents my contributions differently so I thought I was seeing a bunch of photo submissions of the same photo over and over in your edits. I need to turn that tool off so I recognize what I am seeing here with the live photo in the contributions page. Apologies for misreading at first.
