  • I had a couple wayspots in an area removed that were no longer present or misplaced, one of which was a pokestop and since then none of the surrounding wayspots have come into the game in its place. There are a bunch in that area and i would have thought that one would replace it. I think there may have been a glitch in the area somewhere when things were removed. Is it possible to look into this and refresh the area in pogo.

This was the affected area.

The things removed were “Abel Buel” on april 15th and “bushnell tower black and red” on april 8th. They were located around tower square.

This bug is not on one device its in the PogGO game itself for all users. Nothing rplaced something removed and so its a dead area for all users.

I see nothing in GSB, which indicate that those wayspot is removed for some reason. If you have photo of the object being removed and estimate location of those two, that would help people guess whats happening.

I am not sure what is “abel buel” or “bushnell tower black and red” anyway. If those two were reported and removed, then it means you are supposed to appeal for wayspot removal, not bug report.

Yes i removed them because they didnt exist in real life. The other wayspots that show in that area should usually replace it replace what was removed in pogo. Thats why i reported as a bug. There are a handful of wayspots that are still in ingress nearby what was removed, but none of them show in Pogo. One should have come in when the pogo stop got removed.

I’d like to remind everyone that map refreshes to GSB and Intel are manual. Changes can happen in PGO for days before they are reflected on either of those maps.

Thus… we need a PGO map. (Have I heard that somewhere before?)

Yes it was based on that image.

This has been this way for over a month, since before it was swapped to manual sync.

Both of those wayspots appear to be in the same cell as a wayspot called “Constitution Oak”, which does appear to have been in Pokémon Go at some point. Can you confirm if “Constitution Oak” is still visible in Pokémon Go as a Pokéstop or Gym @paparobzzi?

No that stop is not. Nor are any of the others in the image someone posted above. Constitution Oak, Horace Gate, American School For the Deaf Plaque or Washington visits Wadsworth.

Given the issues with maps not necessarily being synced with each other right now, can you help me get my bearings by confirming which two wayspots are in the red box?

Thanks for that. Yeah, it definitely seems like something has gone wrong here. Hopefully someone can fix it for you.

Thanks. Its weird sometimes i’ve seen this happen where nothing shows up. But i have also see it where things moved into a spot where there is a waypoint for some reason both stay there. That happened over here for this wayspot Ingress

It said a portal had moved, but it’s still in both pogo and ingress. I was told that it shouldn’t still be in pogo after the move based on inclusion rules. I think it’s an error too, maybe due to the split or sync issues. Not sure.
