We currently have a Level 17 S2 Cell in our town that has two wayspots, but neither are in Pokémon Go as Pokéstops. I’d be grateful if someone on the team could push a fix for the cell to make one of them appear.
The coordinates are around 53.989560,-1.551556 and the wayspots in this cell are “Valley Gardens Picnic Area” and “Welcome To Valley Gardens And The Pinewoods”.
For context, the picnic area was previously in the cell to the north, but the park had a slight redesign over the past 18 months or so which included moving the picnic area to where it is now, which was done so that they could expand it and give it a bright orange canopy (now even the wonderful British rain can’t stop you from having a picnic). I put in a correction for this location and it was accepted with the evidence provided.
At that point in time, there was a third wayspot in the cell, called “Woodland Throne Memorial Carving”. This was a lovely piece of art back in the day, and it was the Pokéstop in the cell, but it had not been weatherproofed correctly and sadly ended up rotting, and was removed during the aforementioned redesign work. I put in a removal request for it as it no longer existed, and that was accepted.
However, since it was removed several days ago, neither of the other two wayspots have become a Pokéstop to fill the gap that was created. It’s been longer than the usual 48 hours, and I obviously know there’s no property owner issues as I was the one responsible for the removal of the original Pokéstop here, so I can only assume there’s been a slight hiccup in the system.
