Disappearing Wayspot: Mural, Basketball court, Water Tank

• i have an acepted nomination in 2025-08-11 its a vintage mural at this location 14.704036341165473, 121.00534361703724 but its not apearing in pokemon go and there is old pokestop that disapear on the cell too the village water tank i see it back then 2023 location is here 14.703782,121.005529 so there should be 2 posible pokestop to apear again on that location but the cell is empty i also corrected a wrong pin of basketball court pokestop to be move bellow its cell cause thinking that maybe the basketball court pokestop remove the water tank because of wrong pin location to this new location 14.703350542597656, 121.00537555076136 and it is acepted so its below the cell of the mural and village water tank pls help and thankyou

the problem is that basketball court pokestop pin location is wrong making the water tank pokestop disapear so i correct it to the lower s2 cell and its accepted

so the metro villa water tank or the vittage letter mural is not showing up in pokemon go in this s2 cell thats become empty.

pls help thankyou this location is good trafic for people jogging and walking excercise thats why im trying to put some pokestop in it but im getting some errors thats the pokestop is not appearing

Ok, that makes it a bit clearer.

IITC is no longer syncing with Pokemon GO or the Wayfarer database as previously known. The announcement is found here: Important Updates Regarding Wayfarer and Ingress . So these wayspots you see in this map may not be up to date with the game of choice.

What could’ve happened can be one of these scenarios:

1. The missing wayspots is still in the Wayfarer database on an occupied cell.
2. The missing wayspots were removed from the database entirely.

What I can recommend you to do is

Go onsite, check your submission map for orange pins denoting that the wayspot is still in the database.

• If it still exists in the database and find that the pins are misplaced from the actual locations (not the cells), you can put forward location edits via the help chat bubble on the Wayfarer website. Note the clarification for athletic fields:

  It is important to choose a pin placement that respects and does not interfere with the sporting activity. See the image below for guidance. For sports fields with multiple points of play, there should be one nomination to encapsulate the entire field.

  

• If it still exists in the database and find that the pins are accurately placed, there is nothing to do even if the cells do not work in your favor.

• If the wayspots are not found in the database, you can lodge a restoration appeal following the format in Wayspot Appeals .

In cases where you would need to do a restoration appeal or a location edit, geotagged photos are handy evidence that the object still exists at the time of the request. You may need it for the mural especially.
