If I submit a suggestion for review and that suggestion already exists in Pokémon GO or other Niantic games, will the person receive some kind of suspension? Or will the suggestion simply be rejected and that’s the end of it? In a hypothetical situation, if there is a punishment for submitting duplicate suggestions, and in a specific case where two players see a location that could become a point of interest in the game and both submit suggestions at different times, but when each submitted, there was nothing there, player A’s suggestion is accepted, but player B’s is not accepted because it was considered a duplicate. However, as I said, when player B submitted their suggestion, there was no point of interest at that location. Would player B be punished? (Of course, this whole hypothetical situation revolves around the existence of a punishment.)
It is just rejected. There would be no punishment just for submitting the same thing.
The only time I can think of where it would be an issue is if the duplicate is submitted in a false location. But if anything were to come of that, it would be for the location abuse, not for being a duplicate.
