A few of my nominations were rejected as duplicates when there are no duplicates for them there. Should I post about the others here or make a separate post?

It is not always obvious where a query should be posted. I am going to move this to nomination support so we can help resolve what is happening.
It may well be that there are other wayspots not showing in pokemon Go that are causing this to be marked as a duplicate. When you are in the nomination map screen on pokemenon go there is a toggle in the bottom left and you should switch that on. if you are at the location you should see some other markers that might be causing the problem.
If you can post the names of your wayspots and the co-ordinates we can have a look.
The clarification on playgrounds says that individual pieces of equipment should not be accepted separately. The ML (machine learning ai) model or human Niantic reviewers may be duplicating this “Fitness station” to the equipment that is already a Wayspot if I have found the correct location on this map of Ingress portals. My guess would be that this “Monkey Bar” that is in the supporting photo is what they considered a duplicate.
imo, the fitness station would be separate from the playground pieces. You can appeal, even if the rejection was from “our team” but I can’t promise they will accept it. You get two appeals, each on a 20 day counter before you can use them again, so you may want to prioritize.
I can see this one got marked as a duplicate of the nearby Monkey Bars.
The “Monkey Bars” Wayspot shows on Ingress but may not appear on Pokémon GO, and may not be a correct duplicate decision. Just sharing for information.

I agree that the fitness station should be a separate nomination. However, I am all out of appeals and thought that if I post it here maybe someone from the mod team could help. I’ve gotten multiple “false” rejections, similar to this today, where they keep marking my nominations as duplicates when there is nothing like that in the area.
There is a challenge currently running in India which is why many are being resolved.
But that is not good if they are not correct.
There is no time limit on appeals. You can appeal it when you get one back.
Or you can try again with a different main photo. Is there a sign for the fitness court? I don’t think that the sign would be confused with existing equipment. I see some kind of sign here on Street View, but not clearly enough to translate it.

It feels very unfair because this was already the 4th today and I have started to run out of appeals. Im afraid so many more will get marked falsely and it would take forever to resolve them. 20 days to get 1 appeal back is an insanely long time. Im even more afraid of getting my account flagged for having so many “false” or incorrect nominations. I’ve seen other people in the community get it previously
Sadly there is no sign for it, so this is what I will have to work with. There isn’t a time limit on appeals, but the this was already my 4th today, I already used my 2 appeals and now I have 2 sitting there. I’m afraid ill get more duplicates and “false nominations” like this and I won’t be able to do anything about it. I might even get a warning or get my account flagged. 20 days to wait for 1 appeal, is too long. I already have 2 marked as duplicates, which makes me worried that my remaining nominations might go through the same treatment and then ill be sitting ducks waiting for months just to appeal them.
Those of us who have been doing this for a long time are grateful to have any appeals at all and to get TWO and get to use them again after only 20 days is astounding! We used to have no option but to resubmit and resubmit and resubmit. And when they finally added appeals, we got one and it was a long time before we got an answer. Now answers are in less than a week. I don’t want to have unlimited appeals clogging up the queue.
No. If you are submitting good nominations, there is nothing to worry about. You will not get in trouble. Rejections are part of Wayfarer.
You won’t get penalised for rejections of things like this. The item wasnt ineligible, so you did nothing wrong.
You might get issues from resubmitting the same definitively ineligible thing multiple times, for example a flower pot at your house, a school, or a picture of your dog. I would expect a warning in those kinds of cases. But dont get too worried as long as you’re trying to follow the critiera
Thank you for uplifting words, It really does make me appreciate the work trailblazers did so much more. Let’s hope for the best. So in short, there is nothing I can really do but wait for the appeals to regenerate? Nothing the mod team here could help me with ? Because I have 10-15 more nominations waiting on the burner like this, which im worried will also get flagged one way or another

I’m not looking at the map. Will this show up in Pokemon GO? OP may want to know that before deciding to use a precious appeal on it.
