It just did review one of my backlog ones in voting for a couple of days. Ofc it nuked it. The queue here it’s incredibly small, so the bot is not really helpful but a plague. Refused because lady Emily doesn’t like green places. The color rejection criteria for Blu and green (tested) it’s nuts I hope it’ll get fixed one day
I suspect it isn’t just the photo that eMiLy uses to evaluate submissions, but is capable of checking the location and the submission text.

I can confirm its 100% rejecting things already submitted. Had 2 of mine rejected from voting now. Including the one posted above, where i shared the coordinates. Oh well. I guess I just have to wait for my appeals to be available again to get them through… Just annoying i have to use appeals on stops that I’m 99% sure would have been voted through, but ML doesnt like too much green etc…

Sorry I guess I misunderstood what you meant by whole. I read it as not reviewing anything submitted before it was fixed, but I guess I misunderstood you.
Both my rejected stops was between 1-2 weeks old and both had been in voting for several days when it was hit by eMiLy atleast.

Unfortunately we’re still waiting for a fix on Nomination auto-decisions. The team is still working on that final fix and we’ll share more updates as they come.

Will any past photo submissions that didn’t go through ML go through it, or will it only be new photos from this point forward?
I can confirm that only new ones are going through. Just tested it out

That doesn’t answer my question, as yes, new ones would go through just fine now, but what about older ones still in queue?
I have a couple in queue. And they did not get picked up, so I do not think so
It could still be possible. Tintino posted only 2 hrs ago, so it would be nice to have staff confirm this.

I did 2 photo submissions this afternoon and neither were auto accepted.

Not all photos are, but ML is looking at them again before sending to the queue, hence why Tintino used “auto-resolutions” and not “auto-accept” or "auto-reject.”
In the past something like this would have been auto accepted ie an updated view of obviously the same object. So are we to understand that ML isn’t going to be auto accepting photos anymore like it used to? That’s a shame.
hmm… it does say “auto-resolutions” but i thought that would include accepts for photos
maybe the extra greenery in the newer photo prevented the auto-accept? very pretty!

Thanks! Its possible the greenery was an issue. I’m hoping the new one looks nicer centred inside the stop circle and should just be much brighter colours with the improvements to phone cameras over the last few years! Sadly some people were sitting under the “eet” but I also think centering on “Prospect” might work nicely anyway
I had several pictures accepted by eMiLy on Thursday. One went into Niantic Review but the rest were auto-accepted.

I think the positive to take away right now is that ML is reviewing photos again, and this will help with the queue. Yes, it will not auto-accept every photo submitted, but it is reviewing all photo submissions and making decisions on them.
Now we just wait and see when ML comes back to review nominations, because I’m getting a little tired of rejecting fire hydrants, POIs at K-12 schools, etc, etc, etc…

Wieso werden Nominierungen neuerdings automatisch abgelehnt mit dem Hinweis erfüllt nicht die Kriterien wenn es bereits in Abstimmung war?

Bis die ML temporär ausgeschaltet wurde, ist dieser check vor dem Status “in Abstimmung” gewesen. Jetzt wo sie wieder angeknipst wurde, scheint die ML nachträglich noch diesen Status mit zu untersuchen. Zumindest teilweise. Es gab in den letzten Tagen ein paar wenige die das auch berichtet haben.
