Staff hasn’t made an announcement yet that ML is back to reviewing nominations.
This was the most recent comment made by the wayfarer team, that Emily is back online but was not fully functional.
There was a sequence of posts that were not helpful in a known issues topic that I have removed to enable information to be easily seen.

I had this rejected by the automated process today as well. I’m sure it’ll do equally badly on appeal. I don’t understand why viewpoints are so harshly dealt with in Wayfarer.
I will admit that I struggle with where the line is with “Viewpoint Bench”. All benches have a View so it is where is the line that changes “Standard” view to 1 that that is worthy of an Accept.
Your description seems excellent and as long as that is shown with the image (not so easy with just the thumbnail) I would be likely Accept.
Unless I see it as a standard bench that the submitter is trying to upsell (Reject) I would say I probably Skip plenty.

Kind of a jokey post, if you ask me.
That was the supporting image where I showed the zoomed in view in case you’re interested. You can probably guesss what the B1ade (wow building name banned?) is from the roof shape of the most prominent buildings.
In person you can see a lot more detail than the pictures really show, including the trains moving on the tracks (left).
I walked all the way across the park for the view, and haven’t seen another view this perfect in my whole town. There’s a high up park on the other side of town but it doesn’t overlook as well as this one.
I get why the ML rejected it - it rejects anything too green and pretty basically! Was just showing that its doing its usual tricks again so is back to processing at least some stuff. Not any of my photo additions though (grumbles)

Hopping in to let you all know that our team has confirmed the final fix applied is working as intended. After a couple of days monitoring the fix, both Photo auto-resolutions and Nomination auto-rejections are back.
Lastly, any submissions not picked up by eMiLy during the down time will remain in Community review until they reach a resolution. All new submissions after the fix was applied will be eligible for ML auto-decision.

I don’t think we’ll see Nomination approvals from eMiLy for a while, if ever again.

When eMiLy was down, I submitted 3 POIs.
The second submission got rejected some days ago.
The other two POIs are still in queue after 6 days. Is this normal? There are no submissions near right now (I live in a area with few players, and no POIs are submitted regularly).
Normally the queue process takes 2-3 days. Could this be caused because of eMiLy issue?
Submissions initially sit in the queue for between 1 and 7 days, but this can be extended if there is another local submission currently being voted on. This is to prevent the possibility of duplicate submissions going through review at the same time.
So the average of 2-3 days you are talking about is misleading/
IMO this would not be good idea.
ML make mistakes.
If ML rejects something that it shouldn’t then you can always appeal / re-submit.
If ML accepts something that it shouldn’t then it’s in the game.

The potential for abuse is far too high to outweigh the benefits of having it auto-approve nominations.
