Jesting aside. Since Emily went missing 
(and we hope the machine is in fine fettle soon) my nominations are in queue or in voting. Having got used to Emily working her magic it was and is a shock.
So I experimented as I had a few upgrades up my sleeve. And they all worked. IE nominations processed quickly. As one would expect.
I know I am getting heaps of coal to review so Emily does not appear to be rejecting anything. As bus stop poles/signs and State Survey Marks are coming through… .
I am wondering what with the new review process, the introduction of Emily and the ratings debacle if the number of reviewers dropped off . Which is why we back to longer wait times.
Anyone else noticed anything along the upgrades being a saviour ( if you have some)
Definitely slowed down. I’m still getting approvals in about 4 to 5 weeks. I have not used upgrades yet as it’s not too bad yet (I remember the days it took years). Does not seem like anything is stuck.
I did get a eMiLy rejection of a duplicate portal, but that’s my bad for not checking PoGo and the duplicate map first. eMiLy still loves my photo updates, those are typically coming back in minutes.

Same as you @TheDoctorBird I haven’t received a community voting approval since eMiLy went to the hospitAl but have received either approval or rejection within 24 hours (sometimes 3 hours!) after an upgrade.
eMiLy is still doing rejections though but she can improve. Lots of really bad coal getting into community review. Although sometimes that is nice because it’s an easy reject and an easy agreement.

I am not sure Emily is rejecting judging by the sheer quantity of coal I am getting. Whether in the UK or Australia. Same experience. Same dross
But hey. I have been lucky in that my few nominations are going to queue. So I will take that.
