Entrance to apartments and and neighborhood being rejected

Why is the entrance to the apartments keep getting rejected and the entry way to my housing development as well. Both are on sidewalks and I see tons of these type of things as stops. Here are photos for reference

Hello and welcome @sweetpea72

This is a topic that appears on a regular basis. It’s not always clear where to post so I will move this to nomination support.

Like most wayspots there is no absolute answer as each has to be judged on its own merits.

A wayspot has to meet one of the key criteria of a great place to socialise, exercise or explore.

Estate signs are generally not designed to be places to exercise at or stay and be social. So if they are to qualify a few can do so due to their artistic merits under explore.

If you would like to post the rejected nominations we can see if there is a specific issue or way to help.

Yes please, how do I do this.

To me, such signs are nothing special. Unless they are created artfully in an unusual way. Similar to direction signs to businesses. We have few really nice, unusual ones in our area.

I don’t find this sign to be anything that I’d want to be social at, exercise at, or explore. It seems like a very typically neighborhood sign, one that may have even been erected to by the developer to advertise the area and sell the lots/homes.

Keep in mind that just because you see thse as Wayspots in-game doesn’t guarantee that they will be approved now. It’s likely that the community may have seen these as accepted POIs at one time, but these days most don’t unless they have something else included, like a water fountain or scuplture.

I don’t think posting the rejected nomination is needed, as most will say that this is something they would reject, so I don’t know if there’s anyway to improve on this to get this approved.

Just take screenshots from your contribution page then use the picture symbol to insert. Wait until they finish loading before posting.

Here’s a search I did for neighborhood signs; you may want to check out some of these results:
