Extreme waiting for vote

I think it really prevents many to submit POI when a decision takes month…

And when you wait months and get a rejection - with description ’wayfarer criteria’… incredibly useless.

Are someone working on an improvement of this process!?

Many people experience far longer wait times.

I generally agree that it’s not a very useful reason, but in this case, which of the wayfarer criteria would you say this meets?

Thank you for your comments.

Flowers. Nature sign. Great place to meet and go for a walk/ light exercise. Safe for pedestrians to walk and enjoy the changing flowers through out the year. Permanent place also.

You use the flowers to exercise?

There’s a reason it has been called “signfarer” in the past. A picture of the nature sign is likely to do much better than the plant the sign is for.

I don’t personally consider flower pots to be great places to socialize or exercise. You might happen to walk past them, but they aren’t what cause me to go for a walk somewhere nor are they a destination I would choose to go socialize with someone, personally.

No of course not  - but when you walk through the area - the walking is light exercise I think

Right, but the bush you have nominated is not directly linked to this as a place to exercise. It’s just a bush. You can walk past all kinds of things while out exercising, but that doesn’t mean those things facilitate the exercise.

I think it depends on the age of the poke go player… I for instance could choose to meet with friends and decide on the route based on which flowers we would meet on the way.

Okay if that’s the intention of the wording and it it actually not I bush - but a big pot which will bloom throughout the year.

Yeah.

If there was some really fancy garden or special tree that is unique in the area, you may be able to make a case that it is a good place to explore.

But you also need to make sure that you’re not nominating things in someone’s private garden. The garden belonging to a single family residence is ineligible.

Sure- I know- this is publicly available

the rejected nomination is far from unique, not very distinct at all. It could easily be seen as any generic flower pot. If there is some sort of cultural significance to it, i would suggest emphasizing that, and a much better photo.

I know-it was the rejection description I was tired of. Wasn’t actually looking for feedback on the picture
