These 2 Wayspots appeared around the same time as a fake trail marker which I report and it was taken down I have suspicions that it was an alt account of the person who has made these two as they have admitted to using alt accounts to me on campfire which I reported and nothing happened anyway, these 2 Wayspots have either been misplaced intentionally to each be in the surrounds 4 cells in the area which the person frequents or they don’t exist at all which I lean towards as if you look at the pictures it describes there being a bridge it is placed on and there is clearly no bridge in sight especially when one is attached to a warehouse and another was in a backgarden but seems to have been moved next to the other one which still isn’t obviously not there as seen in my geotagged picture hopefully the geotagged pictures I have shared will help as proof towards these being fake despite me providing these previously, if you want proof of the person who has made these having an alternative account is it possible to make a private forum? Update, the 2 Wayspots have moved again and one seems to be on the right place now as it can be seen in this picture on the right but there’s still a Wayspot that doesn’t look like it can be there as there is no brick wall where it is supposed to be placed just what looks like a metal wall instead possibly meaning it’s still misplaced or a fake one, it’s clear that they were misplaced on purpose so they could be in different cells which is abuse and then they tried to hide one my moving it into the same cell as another and have hidden them again but atleast 1 is definitely in the right space now.
Both “Motor Car Acts 1896 and 1903 Notice” and “Leeds and Liverpool Canal Notice”, which are things that almost certainly exist somewhere, say “This bridge is Insufficient to carry a Heavy MotorCar”.
Neither of these would ever have been placed on the back of this warehouse in Barton Industrial Park. I can imagine someone buying things like these and placing them on their house/residence/pub/shop/business, but never here.
Examination of the brickwork shows that these two photos are of notices on different walls (check the mortar) yet have been placed here next to each other. Neither of these walls match the one the wayspots are on, which is a different colour brick.
This photo is the best one for showing this. If you could get a few more of this perspective, this might help.
Yes that’s what I was thinking too because the canal it’s by is the Bridgewater canal that doesn’t stretch to either of those places, and to make it even more suspicious the white one was moved from someone’s backgarden to there even though when I reported it also being in a garden it was still rejected unless niantic moved it themselves but they would’ve just accepted the report. If I could get into the business park I could take a photo that shows all of the wall but it’s gated off I think and I’d have to buzz in and also the cruising club is gated off and private too I think that picture and the other one is as good as I can get mainly because of the bus on the left
If you can manage to get it and look that would help but we would’ve seen it in my pictures if it was especially because it’s placed on the middle of the building
Hi one was actually there in the picture all along but it was on the opposite side meaning it was misplaced on purpose to be in a new cell as there are 4 cells surrounding the Worsley cruising club
No idea who keeps moving them they have moved like 2 times atleast each now clearly this is a case of abuse by purposely misplacing then to be in different cells
If they have moved more than once in a short period of time, that is likely to be Niantic taking action based on this thread (maybe combined with other information).
Ah I see maybe they will take action on the player who misplaced them in the first place I can go back and see if the diamond shaped one is actually there or not because my picture is bad quality and hard to tell
