I rarely have a use for Upgrades.
But I have a lot of edit rejections that I think I could successfully appeal. And the current average of 1/10-days just isn’t quite enough.
That would give me an incentive to do more reviews.

I think those who farm the upgrades should be allowed to donate them to those who are in need…

The thing i see is that, appeals would require Niantic staff to review them, putting extra strain on their resources.

Absolutely agree, or at least ‘refund’ appeals when the ML system rejects a submission erroneously (especially since Wayfarer already gives back an upgrade for upgraded submissions appealed and accepted after ML rejection)
I’d prefer that nominations, which can’t get decided by the ML as an acception, should go into community voting. Maybe less appeals would be necessary
