Feedback zur PokéStop-Verteilung in ländlichen Gebieten

Welcome to the forums

Please have a look at this thread to see a recent discussion on this subject: Please Reevaluate Wayfarer Criteria for Rural Areas

Please see this thread for a discussion of creating nominations in rural areas: Tips for Rural Nominators

As a basic principle, it makes sense that an area with more people has more wayspots and an area with fewer people has fewer wayspots, so wanting a rural area to have the same wayspot density as an inner-city area is unrealistic. Wanting to be able to create more wayspots in a wayspot desert is understandable.

Rural and also “Rural and Remote” Contributor here -

The amount/density of Pokestops, Gyms and Powerspots in the Rural and “Remote” Areas here can be problematic. Infact we do have alot of Gyms that is seldom occupied and theres basicly noone doing any 5* raids there. Theres also often a showcase where you will be alone.

One thing for sure: When there are interesting places they USUALLY always have alot of things crammed into one small area (like for example trail parking spaces - they do have alot of Maps, Trail Markers) or town squares that indeed have limited space where you can find several memorials, several information signs et al.

For Pokemon Go this is problematic; theres enough to have alot of gyms, pokestops and powerspots - but there just will be maybe one gym/pokespot and a powerspot spawn.

Please be aware that Niantic is not deaf to the issues faced by players without much to submit. They have been known to import Wayspots, which can lead to other issues, and are currently running this experiment with placing Wayspots for low density areas.
