Four pokestops in S2 cell, no gym?

Hello! Hopefully this is the appropriate category to post this in. I’m unsure if this is a big or not but I’ve never had this issue before and I’ve been doing a bunch of nominations so it seemed out of the ordinary.

I’ve been on a roll making nominations and learning about the cell system in hopes of making the game better for fun and exploring in my local area since I know some players in my area and it’s been fun with each of us exploring and finding new waypoint locations. However this specific S2 cell in my neighborhood hasn’t been predictable like the rest? There was a gym in the S2 cell above it that was the second waypoint in the cell, it was a Little free library on private single family residence property that has since been removed. There are 4 pokestops(one showcase) in this cell, but no gym, but the cell above it had a gym with just two pokestops.

I have a photo in Pokemon go where I drew where i know that the S2 corner ends. I am unsure how third party websites for S2 cells fly around here so I won’t include that photo unless im asked(there’s overlays on map apps for cells but I am not tech savvy enough for this ), but I double checked the location on the waypoints in that website(since they’re usually community added) and compared lat/long and the pokestops are all in the correct spots on there.

If it does seem like a bug im happy to give the location and more info! I just wasn’t sure if anyone else has had this happen before. If anyone knows more about cells and knows what’s going on I’d be happy to learn so I can know more for the future for when I do more nominations. Thank you for reading!

Hello,

Are you able to provide more location info, such as lat/long coordinates? This would be helpful, as the location would need to be known to look into the S2 cells in the area. A PoGo screenshot doesn’t tell us anything about the actual location.

I feel very dumb right now because I think I solved it a few minutes after this post there’s a gym that’s quite far in the very very far corner of the cell that I couldn’t even see from my location until I went into the next neighborhood over and I think that might explain it. I can’t delete my original post so I guess this is just testament to explore further Sorry about this

I’ve done the same, and when I know I have repeatedly looked at it. Mistakes happen.
