Just saw a commercial and all I could think of was wayspots when I saw it… 
Have you seen any similar commercials that make you think of wayspots?

Not commercials but…..
Being a wayfinder news or TV documentaries takes on a whole new perspective of spotting things in the background and thinking…
I wonder if that’s a wayspot

I see wayspots while watching tv or movies all the time. Literally just this week, i was watching the singing competition American Idol. It was filmed on Easter Sunday so they had people from the judges hometown churches send in greeting messages. When they got to Ryan Seacrest (the host), i was like, “Hmm, i think i know where that church is.” I was able to find it pretty quickly on the Intel map.
I’ve also watched movies and pointed at the screen to say “that’s a wayspot i submitted!” This is because there’s a lot of filming done in my metro area.

All of the way spots on that add are on Private Property.

I’ve been guilty of this too.
Also doing some edits such as to a pub that appeared in Doctor Who or a postbox that was on Midsomer Murders etc.
Makes the POI more interesting with some history like that.

Nice about seeing places in films.
A local pub which is historically interesting because it’s not changed much in the past 110 years, has appeared in several Dramas. I wish I had submitted it but the pubs locally were all submitted a long time ago.
I tried to get in a location that was used in a classic 1960s film but that was rejected.
