There’s third party images of an object that exists, and then there’s taking the first thing that comes up in a Google search for “wooden information board” in French, which is what this image is, and nominating it where one doesn’t exist. This is the latter, not the former.
This is a submission at an incorrect location using a third-party image. We are in agreement on that.
The incorrect location/fake submission will be the problem - had this been located at the actual location of the POI using a third-party image, evidence from other removal appeals strongly indicates it would not have been removed.
My comment was not meant as a “This is why it was removed” more a “If you decide to continue nominating please note…” and an assumption that other nominations are likely to be the same.
Probably should have explained it better in the first place…
