There is already a wayspot for this and I am rejecting it. There are lots of wayspots in the area. This isn’t the first time I have had stairs nominated. Looking for other input on this.

Yesterday I had a swing, without swing on the ring. Titel of this POI was “swing set”.

You can report photo edits……
I had this problem just the other day and was looking for a report button at top or bottom - I also review in dark mode, and I didn’t think how to do it was obvious.
Clicking on that gives I think 3 options to choose to report.

Yeah, just for being offensive, explicit, or containing personal info, not for any other abuse options.

As long as you pick one it will log it for checking.
But yes a more general option would be helpful.

I wish there was an option to also rate your favourite image. There are many eligible but not very good images on these edits, and 1 or 2 awesome images that would be so much nicer if they were chosen
Currently there is no way to get a new image onto a waypoint. Sure you can submit new images and upvote them in game if you live there… but nothing happens from that.

I’d prefer Niantic to explicitly state that players shouldn’t do that so I don’t have to reject what would otherwise be an accept.

Too many legit contributions are getting rejected the same kind of portals are getting accepted and the same kind are getting rejected. Have to pile up all the appeals now 2 appeals in 20 days is not that enough.

Placeholder means that the nominator planned to edit the entry to write a proper description or elaborate on their supporting text, but they likely forgot to put the nomination on hold and it went into voting before they could fix it. When submitting on the go, sometimes it’s easier to submit with placeholder text, then put the entry on hold so they can write more comfortably or research information.
Basically, someone meant to hold the nomination and didn’t get to it in time.
