Yup, nothing new… we have a few friends from our community that live nearby the dissapeared gym who have been checking for new gym for few days. Im pretty sure that atleast three of them can see from their game pov whole cell area
The deleted gym was a sign that was took away few months ago so deleting that gym was the right choice. Although according to the rules we should get a new one, and we didnt. We have a whole two communites in that area who play there every day. Having one less gym while our cell should have one more was a major problem on the latest raid hour.
I believe the rules are quite easy to understand, yet, they do not apply in this case, and you still give the generic answer… Number of pokestops should give us another gym in place of the removed one. I know its beginning of the year, and most people does not use their full potential today, but this answer looks like a copy paste template, just to give “some” answer and tick checkbox in your backlog.
I just wanted to be sure that it was clear that any “rules” as to how gyms are created are from community observation. Niantic has never confirmed these rules. Aaron has sometimes been able to do something on the “backend” if there is an issue, but I guess he couldn’t in this case.
What else can i do to make our full cell…full? I never in my life saw a full cell with 2 gyms. And we would like to have a fair number of gyms on the next raid days
I don’t know if this is any help, but as a passionate forum snooper I have gone through the related topics suggested under this thread (and then some) and in some cases, especially ones where a gym disappeared due to removal of a wayspot, it took a bit longer for a gym to reappear, up to three weeks or more. It might be worth it to ask Pogo support,since this is a game issue, though they might point you back to Wayfarer
