This is one that I do not understand. I attempted to change the title more than once to Brady Annex. Niantic rejected the edits. I appealed the second time using this information. Why are these title edits and appeal being rejected? Brady Post Office used to be at this location. The post office portion moved to the west on the other side of Kroger when an independently owned grocery store closed. The owner retired. That is Brady Post Office in the games because of me after a successful title edit.
I used Google Maps at Brady Post Office to get the name of the USPS location that I try to change including the website. Do you have suggestions to get the title changed? I have screenshots.

Hi! I think the appeal response is in line with policies here. You canât change a wayspot for business to a different type of business without it being re-assessed on its own eligibility merits. The USPS met one set of criteria, this other one may meet others or none at all. So the team wonât usually act on such an edit.

I think that leaving the bit about USPS off does make âBrady Annexâ more confusing than the existing title. Maybe try submitting an edit calling it
Little Rock USPS Brady Annex
or something similar that keeps the information that this is a post office while adding the information that it is the Brady Annex

The authorities claimed that adding information beyond the âofficialâ designation was a form of suspicious behavior. People may come up with varying naming conventions, and attempt to edit each otherâs offerings to remove abbreviations or pre- or post-fix the agency name or what have you. If we try to add information to the title we may even be charged with abuse.
Just about the only safe way left for Explorers to regularize Wayspot names is to refer to official lists that can be found online.
@cyndiepooh, Thatâs part of the issue. When Brady Post Office became Brady Post Office at a different location and Brady Annex at the former location (no longer a post office), that is part of the reason that I didnât want to add Post Office to the name. Since Little Rock has a population more than 200,000 people and several post offices south of the Arkansas River (North Little Rock and Maumellle are north of the river), I wanted to give the official name. This might help regarding USPS mostly in Little Rock.
4 of those are in North Little Rock. The rest are in Little Rock including the main USPS location near Bill & Hillary National Airport that only receives and distributes mail similar to Brady Annex. Visiting Brady Annex is still doable without trespassing though we have to stay outside unless an employee.

So I will step in here to say that if this is just a mail sorting spot, I donât think it meets any criteria any longer. A post office meeting criteria is always a stretch - I think itâs primarily an acknowledgment that wayspots can be hard to find in rural areas and you can âbe socialâ by sending letters to people through the post office. Maybe you also find out whatâs happening if there are announcements posted. But if a member of the general public canât go inside, then the âsocialâ aspect of the post office doesnât seem to hold up.
i agree with @seaprincesshnb - if this is no longer a post office where you can go inside and be social, then i would not submit any more edits. especially since they already warned about trying to ârepurposeâ it. i thought you were just submitting a title correction to make it more specific as there are several âLittle Rockâ post offices, so i misunderstood the previous conversation.
my guess is that a report for removal would also be rejected.
