High Schools now qualify?!

Did High Schools suddenly start qualifying? I’m guessing not! Any Ambassador wanna remove these??

Mod Note: While Ambassadors can flag urgent issues to Niantic staff for review, they cannot perform removals themselves.

Ambassadors are not staff and do not have the ability to remove Wayspots. Since you have posted this here, you may want to see if staff handle it from this, but I would recommend using the Reporting Abuse form linked at the top here or Help Chat for future issues like this.

In case the link is not showing for you, I will post it:

and help chat is available at https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help

I’ve made a post before about a Wayfarer and an Ambassador quickly removed it!

The most a Wayfarer Ambassador can do is attempt to bring a matter to the attention of staff.

Please report using the form Cyndie shared.

I reported on the Help Chat Bubble and got the usual “We have reviewed the report and have taken action on the Wayspots in accordance with our policies.” reply.

No change on the Map yet but could just be waiting for the next sync.

The google maps pin says “Achievers High School”, located in Divine Savior Catholic Church, which is marked as permanently closed (and has most of the wayspots belonging to it).

If you click on the ridgenet.org website link for the Achievers High School, it redirects to d234.org which is Ridgewood High School, with a physical location one block east. That school does have an Achievers section, but it appears to be based at the High School itself.

There’s not a lot to confirm that this location is now a school, but this does explain why so many wayspots were accepted at what might be a school.

The most recent streetview looks like sports facilities are gone or partially gone.
