How do I report this gym?

Hello,

I’ve been trying to report a POI since july. It’s a fake location POI - chapel marked at the entry to the apartment block, while the actual location is a single building about 100m away.

In july I tried to report it by using the in-game option ,edit location”, but it won’t allow me to move the pin this far away- after certain distance it just kept bouncing back. I suggested a new location as close to the actual one as I could, but it got rejected two times.

Recently some of my pokestop proposals have been approved and… it triggered this fake pokestop to become a gym. Obviously I wanted to report it again. This time I tried by selecting ,report gym issue” > ,location does not exist” as I didn’t find anything better, but I don’t get any answer.

After reporting it by a form on niantic.helpshift.com (with a reason ,It’s on private property” as I didn’t find anything better), I got a response saying that I have to be ,the President of the Homeowner’s Association or a senior executive of the property management company” in order to report it.

I don’t know what else I can do. The location was faked by someone who wanted to have a home-pokestop (and kept bragging about it at the local meet-up), now they have a homegym and getting it removed seems impossible. It makes me really upset.

Pls dont do this.

You can use help chat to edit location. Please present as many evidence that you have. Staff will have his/ her own judgement about where its should be depending on your evidence

Private property is ineligible if its single family private residential property. Apartment is eligible. Reporting it under private property will only end up in failure.

In my opinion, since its missplaced, you should edit it with helpchat.
