How long to wait on chat help response?

Help chat not saving

Is it some setting I have wrong or is there a reason the chat history doesn’t save when using an IPhone to contact the help chat. I don’t know if I get a reply. I close the chat down to come back later and it’s gone. It’s always done this. Yet when using an Android phone the chat history remains and I can see a reply.
