Asking because I did submit a couple of requests over the past several weeks and never heard anything more. I didn’t do any screenshots so I can’t remember the ticket numbers.
However, yesterday, While reviewing I came across an area that has an obvious set of fake way spots. It seems to be about 20 that are clear fakes centered around three houses in a neighborhood . The way spots photos can’t possibly exist in the area where they are. A couple are directly on the houses. I know they aren’t old way spots because the submission that I was reviewing is exactly the same as the others.
Others when you go to street view and Google maps shows that they can’t possibly exist. In any case, I was wondering if support was still sending out emails when you submit something because I haven’t received any for now the third submission over the past several weeks, or is it me being impatient?
Not asking for a resolution, just to know that the ticket is actually in the system and going to be reviewed at some point.

I wonder what happened to the other two that were just in the past couple weeks. The one to which you referred that I had posted about previously was a couple months ago.
They were resolved favorably from what I can see.
Last question I promise, but they say that you’ll be notified yet I’m not notified. I’ve looked for emails in spam trash and inbox and haven’t found any. If they stop sending out emails out of curiosity.

You don’t get emails for help chat requests. They stay in the chat. If you’re not getting these responses, you should check your browser settings. Your browser might be closing the sessions.

Something that needs looking into. Your other services using the same chat system do generate email receipts.

@RoIi112 I have gotten them in the past, but things do change.
wayfarer has never generated email responses through the help chat bubble.

Are you referring to the removals webform? If yes, that acts differently. There is no chat option there, it’s just a webform. So, the responses go to the email address provided.
No, im referring to Ingress that uses the same chat service through REMY. Both their in game chat or the helpshift chat generate emails.

You’re correct, emails are not sent out for help chat, even though an email address is asked for. I also have never received an email from an in-app chat, as they don’t ask for an email address, and the responses are kept in-app; you do get a notification when there is a new reply.
One recommendation is there is a browser extension that saves ticket information on that browser for that device only, and it has come in handy for me. It’s worth installing, so that you can go back and see your previous tickets, if need be.
I had to do this for a location edit over 10m, as even though they said it would be moved, it wasn’t 48 hrs later. I had the extension, so I could grab the previous ticket # and provide it in my new request.
@NianticAaron If we are to get emails for help chat requests, then this should be looked into.
I don’t think they said we don’t.
Any advice on how to get that extension?
