There used to be a pokestop where the black betty was but it became the hot bev and when i tried to report that the information was incorrect they removed the pokestop as a whole. it’s now a small business coffee shop that wants to do pokemon events and invite the pokemon community to play together. how can i get that pokestop back and have it be the correct information? all of my requests have been denied and even the appeals have been denied. i have posted my applications please provide tips or tell me if i should change anything please!

As it was removed for being a different business you are welcome to submit a fresh nomination for this cafe.
You need to be level 35.
You will need a good photo and supporting photo.
And a good description that will demonstrate why it would criteria - probably a great place to socialise.

Remember a nomination may not be accepted and it will be worth checking if it will be selected for Pokémon Go.

First, you got some advice that is odd. Since this is a completely new business, Niantic won’t restore it under a new name.
Second, I think it’s possible to get this approved as the coffee shop.
Your description is not bad. But I might add these details which I found on their website:
- Featuring coffee from local roasters
- Host events for up to 50 people
Then your supplemental has a lot of extra information that doesn’t help. Wayfarer approval does not depend on how the wayspot will be used in any particular game. You just need to talk about the value this place brings to the local community. I always like to mention the specific criteria it meets. Most cafes meet the Socializing criteria easily. Sometimes they can also meet the Explore criteria if they feature local goods, like this one offers coffee from local roasters.

it’s a small business coffee shop and energy bar, so we serve all things coffee and we also make custom energy drinks with your choice of red bull or lotus which is a plant based energy! it used to be a barbecue place that served barbecue and food. we don’t really have food here besides breakfast sandwiches and oatmeal.
Sorry this must all come across as very confusing to you as you are new to the forum.
Repurposing of one previous wayspot into another is a topic that is not clear cut in some ways.
The basic principle is that the original wayspot was approved for that place and its function.
The case that is being referred to was a restaurant that changed owners but was still a restaurant. Hence my questions about previous and now.
In my opinion interpreting what you have said this is now very different from what was there and you are new owners.
It would be highly unusual for it to be changed via the property owner form. The more conventional and normally recommended route is to make a fresh submission.
It may be that the wayfarer team steps in as they did in another case.
In the meantime….
You do need a better photo without people in it and that you can see the title of the place clearly.
Try to fill the picture with the building and avoid too much forecourt.
@seaprincesshnb has made good suggestions for the text.
Good photos and text will be needed anyway.

okay thank you! i tried to the best of my ability to follow the advice given to me and have submitted a new request. I’ve attached the new request using some pictures.

If you could add a weblink into the supplementary to illustrate the events that would be really good.
Is it identifiable on streetview? If that shows previous business point that out in the supplementary too.
Put the submission on hold click edit and explain and add the link. Then if you are happy release hold.
Then wait. There is a random time before it goes into the voting queue and once a vote is cast it changes to invoting more waiting.
Do let us know the outcome.

As @elijustrying said, I would mention something about street view here. When you’re clicking around, most of the views available are from Dec 2024 and you can mostly see the name of the cafe. But with one click, I got thrown to a street view from 2008 which shows this looking like a warehouse (not even the BBQ place).
I would say something like “Street view from Dec 2024 shows this cafe. The entrance faces the driveway, so you have to place pegman in front of the Wendy’s next door and zoom in to see the name of the cafe. The side of the building facing 11th street is not the entrance.”
It looks like in 2008, the google car drove into the Wendy’s parking lot. But has not done so since.
If you place pegman on 285 between Wendy’s and Roswell Family Care, you can zoom in easily to see the entrance and name.
