Is there a wayspot for the club itself (this might be seen as being a proxy for the club)?

If I found the right place, there is already a Wayspot for “Club Sportswood.” The sign might be acceptable on its own merits as unique art. I think that would be a toss-up with reviewers.

I think the illuminated sign is worth a try - it’s quite a cool sign. It might get voted to be a duplicate, but I agree there is no harm giving it a go.

Worth a try, but be prepared for a rejection. If I saw the club had a wayspot already (and I would always check), this downgrades the sign sufficiently that it no longer has enough to justify itself.

Also instead of saying “club sign” there would be a better way to submit it
Thanks for answering. How do I title thos and in which category does it belongs it? I would not like to call it “club sign”. Something which would not make the people think that this is just for the club
The map from the Web Submit form can be used to see Wayspots in their S2 cells, but requires the addition of third party tools. Forum rules do not allow me to directly link to third party tools.
If you are not comfortable with using third party tools to see S2 cells already, you may not want to bother with this at this time.

I don’t really do this kind of nomination. Be clear that you are submitting the sign, not the club. Call it “Love Club Sportswood” or something like that. If there is anything you can find about the installation, add it to the supporting. If it is an Instagram attraction, mention that.

Niantic have never acknowledged the L14 and L17 cells, so anything that shows them is not officially supported by Niantic. Allowing links (to tools that show the cells) to remain on this forum would be equivalent to officially supporting them.

What would be the description and the "why is it a good submission "? I was thinking about the title as “Love club Illuminated sign” as per both of your recommendations.
So iitc is also not supported? And it is against the rules? Why dont they want to show the cells? So that people don’t know the placement and they find trouble nominating places which can actually appear in the map?
Also I heard that the new wayfarer map is coming, if it wouldn’t show the cells it would be of no use.
If you can’t come up with that, then you should not submit it. We are not familiar with the sign.
Well I can write the description but I though you guys can help me better with all that knowledge and experience.
IITC has add-ons to show the cells even though this has nothing to do with Ingress, as Ingress doesn’t care about the cells. These add-ons were created because it was possible to create them.
It may be possible for equivalent script tools to be created for the wayfarer map when it arrives. It [almost certainly] won’t have cells shown natively.
Wayfarer doesn’t care about whether wayspots appear in Pokemon Go. It cares about interesting eligible submissions that meet Social, Exercise or Exploration criteria.
