How would you get this accepted

It’s an old council house for nottingham city. Its not really used by the whole city council anymore (unless its for specail events) as they relocated to a different building, the only part of the council that uses it regularly is the public offices and chief Register Office for Births, Marriages and Deaths for the city. Now it can be hired for corporate events or public events, marriages some of it is even offices. The problem is its in the city centre so it would be impossible to get a photo without people in it. So how would a thing like this get accepted?

I also dont know if its already a wayspot as its not showing on iitc so if anyone wants to look the coordinates are 52.953401,-1.148948

These photos aren’t mine im just using them for references to show how hard it would be to get photos of the building without people in.

I can only see the lions and a couple of the entrance unless I’m missing something.

I can see there are no free cells but kind of amazing nobody submitted it. Most main buildings in a town usually have photos with people in but maybe something like this?

Thanks for that. They are the entrance to a small shopping centre

Historic England has some amazing listings around there that will probably never get added because of cells :smiling_face_with_tear:

The thing is I want to get a picture of the whole building because it’ll look much better. I knew there are no free cells around there i just wanted to have something interesting in my contribution page . Something different to signs and trail markers

Very, very early morning?

Pretend to be an official and cordon off the area?

Early Sunday morning is my go to time slot for people free pics.
Although if they are not individually recognisable it should be ok.

It does seem silly to have a left and right lion and not the important bit in the middle

Or maybe at night? I saw some photos where it was special illuminated.
Or on a rainy day?

The chance of the rain stopping the people of Nottingham wandering around drunk at night are virtually non existent :slightly_smiling_face:

And it looks so wet… I thought …

I don’t think british …

Did you Photoshop that?

No google pictures screenshot

About that. They used to be water fountains you could walk through but the councils stop running them as there bankrupt now

Nottingham comes alive at night with everyone partying. Thats basically what were known for. Parties/stag dos and students well and high crime but its not that bad anymore. The city is never quiet really

Illuminated would be a nice picture.

The people of nottingham would like to say the lions are more important😆. Thats where everybody meets up if there going into Nottingham, especially the left lion. I think its better to not say the opinions of Nottingham people to the council aswell

How many submissions do you have…?

You have to get that bit of folklore added to the Lion description :joy_cat:
