I can't deal with this any more

I’m tired of fighting against this app. I’m tired of getting valid submitions rejected becouse of minious details. But this has been the last straw. How can this be not acurate to the map if this is a comisioned piece by the mayorship of this city?!

I have lived in this street for a while and the only thing that ““justifies”” this is that the Google car hasn’t been here in ages. But that is not my fault.

But It gets worse, i have tried to submit other thind since and this last thing apears:

Not only those nominations hasn’t been uploaded, It apears that they have taken one of the nominations chances that I have left away.

Can I talk to another human been about this?? Can I get sole help??

Yes, I think it’s best you take a smol break to cool down with your penguins.

In the meantime, the web submission surely will be fixed, and you have time to read how to submit something that’s a proper Wayspot

Hello and welcome @Eratawalpa

Rejections are very frustrating when you believe you have done a reasonable submission.

The community here will be happy to help support you to understand what the issues might be.

These look like stencils, so not unique individual pieces. You refer to this being sanctioned. Have you got a website a link about this project?

I will move this to nomination support.

Estos pinguinos paracen ser vandalismo que no cumplen los criterios. Aparte de eso so echos con plantillas en ves de ser murales unicos.

Thanks for the encouraging words. Yes, stencil has been usted indeed but It isn’t a cheep manufactured one. This is the tecnique used by this particular artist. Another one that uses stencil as his signature Style is Bansky and he is universally aclaimed.

I’ve got a mayor in arts, and in uni the first thing you are tought that any technique is worthy of consideration if the piece IS remarcable enough. In this street there are several penguins that give this historicly poor and neglected part of the city a new and fun look, not as a vandalic act but as a mean to lift itself Up. Vigo and Galicia in general are well known for its urban style of mural and graffiti.

Im not trying to sound over my self but to explain why, in my opinion, I see this as a cool part of my neighbourhood, a cool adition to this Game i love with some pieces of art I love aswell.

The key question is whether there is a place that records that this is sanctioned?

Work that is not sanctioned will be considered temporary likely to be removed. It’s also not clear if some of the walls are part of a family home?

I am sorry but the onus is on submitter to provide sufficient evidence to convince reviewer. Otherwise there will be many people vandalise wall to create wayspot. I wont pin actual post, but someone vandalised pokemon grafitti into wall and still dare ask why its not eligible

You need proof that its commisioned and not just word because many people lie to get their wayspot approved. If this is really commisioned by mayor, surely there will be proof that can be given.

Hiya!

The penguins are cute, but I think they were rejected due to not enough evidence that they were commissioned as a project.

If you can provide that- ie a link to a local news article, social media posts, etc then I would hope you could get these accepted.

Artwork can make a great PoI but anything in a graffiti style needs to have permission in order to be considered permanent- ie Niantic wants to make sure that the property owner isnt going to go out with a scrubbing brush or some white paint to remove it.

Your mayor in arts surely will help you to identify cool things in your town.
