So I saw this Allotments site on the Wayfarer Maps, went to it, the entrance is narrow and the sign is pointing 90 degrees away from the entrance. I can’t win. It’s an official sign… and the allotments is further down the path…
Appeal?
I have to wait about 10 days before I can appeal. I am just a little frustrated with the rejections on things that shouldn’t really be rejected.
This could be entirely my problem but you may want to address it in an appeal. What’s an “Allotments site”? That may be why reviewers rejected it.
I know you are based in the USA, so may not know what an Allotment is. They are the equivalent to a Community Garden in the USA. Allotments are common in the UK, and most people in the UK would know what they are.
Yes explaining an allotment to U.K. reviewers would be like explaining a strip mall in USA.
Although I am always in favour of fuller descriptions.

Thanks to both of you for explaining the obvious to me. That may still be needed in the appeals.
We won’t be told but my impression is that the appeals reviewers are neither in North America nor Western Europe. (based entirely on the hours they seem to process appeals)
I believe Niantic Staff are fully aware of what an Allotment is. Plus the supporting info points to a Government Site that lists the Allotment.
Just FYI, it’s never a bad idea to explain more than you think you need to. Maybe not so much as defining an allotment, but definitely describing how they meet criteria. You never know when you’re going to get a new Appeals reviewer who needs lots of details.
