I don't believe in this community :D

Wayfarer community mark bridge like temporary seasonal. Bridge for tourists on lake

Info:
Mark on the map wasn’t my. I marked center position of bridge.

Funny story of this nomination. I waited 25 minutes to makes photo of empty bridge. Many tourists walking here.

It’s marked not distinct. Is this a named bridge? A photo from the side should improve your chances as well

What’s the rest of the nomination? What was the supporting information? Is this a footbridge/cycling bridge?

There should be an option to appeal the community decision if you think the decision was incorrect.

I’ve had a lot more success with side images of bridges ie showing the water and the structure rather than the path over it (which I sometimes use in support, but not alwats)

Like this example

It can sometimes be challenging to get the side view and include getting muddy, climbing banks, or stung by nettles to get the best angle but sometimes it really helps reviewers see the cool side of the bridge

Every time I’ve taken an image framed like yours, its been rejected.

What is the area that the bridge serves? It looks like a pretty cool place. Can you use the info about the are to highlight the importance of the bridge?

Look at on map… It’s impossible to make photo from side. Swamps are around the bridge.

Yes it is.
Another funny story. Google car drove in bridge. And cars are not allowed there.

Mate they are only trying to help with your ***** bridge. You can’t expect everyone to take the time and walk around the area you have submitted.

It was a reasonable suggestion

This bridge is beetwen two lakes. I living in place where is many lakes within a radius of 20 km (12 lakes)
The road across the bridge leads to the third lake.
Many tourists are everyday in this places in summer.

I was hoping there would be an angle, whether that was from a bit further away and zooming in, or by getting down closer to the water line.

It cant always be done, but its worth some investigation. Might be easier in winter with less tree cover?

I just think that reviewers are looking at your picture and seeing a road with 2 fences.

You have right, sorry.

Its okay!

It’s streetview here. Google Maps

And i’m driving here everyday on the bike.

The reason I suggested it is because of this… here is an example of my early wayfarering - so I look back at the original submissions for this bridge and cringe! But it shows the difference you can achieve with a side shot. This one took me a few tries but yeah, much improved on the final submission

I don’t have a boat and I can’t swim

My other footbridge nomination:

Was wondering if you can find something like this, a gap in the bank with an angle where you might get a view back, albeit hopefully there is something closer/you have a decent zoom capability

Maybe Im the only wierdo that climbs down riverbanks for pictures :laughing: I have never fallen in, just been stung by nettles a lot

Too far and this year the reeds are growing.

I could do this, but 10 years ago xD And I can’t swim. It’s weird because I have everywhere lakes xD

Can I add photo from google photos? Many tourist make a photos. Maybe some is from side of bridge.

Nie ma sprawy.

I would have accepted it after looking at the area that it’s in and the points it connects.

Sadly the pictures have to be yours, or from a friend who took it for you to use for this purpose - ie a picture that was taken to make a waypoint.

You cant just get images from google unfortunately- they arent yours to use and ‘3rd party photo’ is a rejection reason in wayfarer

I mean a tourist photos. Many tourist makes photo and pin it on google maps.
