I got a warn for adding “My photos, from my old phone.” in supporting info around 20 days ago, for “influencing revievers”. My mum got a warn 10 days ago for the same reason. Today i got a warn for trying to add a photo of an, formerly vandalism, now a mural about helping an volounteer organisation by donating bottle caps. The wayspot is originally a vandalism, and got warned for “invalid photo” for trying to add the new mural as a photo to the wayspot. It may not have been god quality, but it was not blurry, and it showed the mural pretty well. Can someone explain why did that even happen and do i need to stop helping adding more wayspots or editing anything if trying to ends up in a incorrect warn every single time?
Decided that would be preety interesting, warns 1 and 3 (on me) were placed by the same employee.

Warn 2 (on my mum) was appealed, appeal got almost instantly rejected from what i remember. Was given hovewer, by a diffrent employee and appeal got rejected by another employee.

It would be more helpful if u can show the warning email and /or the photo being discussed here. Frankly normal community member have no access to it. So there is limited thing to discuss
As far as i am concerned, i want to know can i feel safe when nominating and is there a way to revert all of them, including the first two. With investigatons every 10 days that reject nominations for the WILDEST reasons, like rejecting a historical sign, with the name given „Historical sign - Opening of the train station in (…)” but in polish, and it got rejected by the Niantic team as „incorrect or invalid name or description” (description was „historical sign” but in polish).
By now, it seems inpossible to add anything with a warn and instant rejections of everything every 10 days.
Okay, thank you very much. When being in a city you don’t know, it is hard to tell if something is or isn’t a fake, however, will try for such stuff not to happen again.
Also, one last question. When my suspension time ends (bellow a week), can i appeal the nominations that were rejected as abuse after i got suspended a few months ago and of some of theinvorrect investigation rejections? There is so many that appealing one per month would take atleast a year.
And if it would be possible, i would like to know the thought proces behind the first and 2nd warn, because I don’t understand it.
You must have received email explaining the violation.
If your nominations were rejected when you received the punishment, that’s standard procedure. I would recommend resubmitting if you believe they meet criteria.
All i got about the violation is that the supporting information is influencing. I do not understand how is it influencing, though. I added it due to the fact ML kept rejecting it as third party. Although i realized what happened now, when before renominating, i added the photos to mapy.cz. That could be the problem. If needed, i can prove that the account is mine.
And renominating the rejected, it would take a while, as not only that i have to wait a day to nominate, i also have to be 25km from the location, and it would take some time to nominate them all again, and probably there would be another suprise investigation to reject them all for no reason. And the fact ML is going to reject most of them for third party since i added most of them to mapy.cz by now
When we share our photos online, my understanding is that we retain all rights to them, except as stipulated in an agreement.
I thought this meant that cloud storage and unpaid use in mapping programs were likely to be just as acceptable as posting our photos on this forum.
Is that not correct? If I post my nomination photo here for feedback, must I use a different photo for the actual Wayfarer submission to avoid accusation of third-party photo abuse?
If posting here is okay, what makes posting in other places different? Are there particular phrases to watch out for, or is every non-Niantic site forbidden to us?
