As a VOLUNTEER, NON-PAID worker of Niantic, reviewing countless let’s say… low quality, horrible, photos and wayspots, that eventually are aproved… this free work being moved only by my passion for Poke Go and the desire to make my city in Poke Go BETTER… and having the sentiment tha I’m fighting this war alone, because my city have NUMEROUS wayspots photos blank for ages (got lvl 37 this month)… and feeling that the mere approval of the new photos tht I submit will rest in the Wayfarer limbo for months, but still sending them…
I’m really hurt that my indications for wayspots are automatically rejected. I’m a 37 year old, brazilian father of one, little business owner, not just some young irresponsible person. I can racionally conclude that some stuff is a good wayspot. But, maybe I’m wrong or I’m not understanding the rules of indications wrong. So, I aks you guys, to please, see the rejection and wayspot indications pictures annexed, and tell me, whats wrong. In my city there are numerous really bad wayspots like a soccer field inside a private business, where only employees of that business can play, there’s no picture, and still this is better than what I’m submitting?

I think the waypoints without a picture are imported data rather than normal submissions and yes they can be pretty low quality sadly so they cant be a good guide as to what is good or bad to submit
Its a shame your burger place submissions was rejected seemingly by the ML - I wonder if it couldn’t work out what the picture was due to the shutters?
You could try again with the sign being the main focus, or if you can get a face-free picture with it being open that maybe helps too?
I am unsure if it would be accepted - restaurants etc can be tricky, but often they can be acceptable as good places to socialise
Anyway if its auto rejected dont be discouraged. Auto reject feature is there to screen low quality submission. Without it back log for nomination can go up to a few years. But in process, there will be some nomination falsely rejected. Personally i also have many of my submission rejected by AI. I recommend you try submitting again.
Is that burger local business? Generic restaurant is not eligible.
But if its local business and considered local gathering spot, it might be eligible
Anyway soccer field in gated community is actually eligible even if its only available to certain people.
