I'm new to this and need a bit of help

Hello!

In the e-mail there was no specific reason why my nomination got rejected. I re-read the criteria to be sure to do this right and I did google search before so I was positive that bulletin boards are acceptable for nomination. Well, English is not my native language, so sorry if my mistake is something trite, but re-reading the rules and criteria a thousand times I still don’t know what should I do different. Should I just appeal? Or is there anything I can change/improve to re-submit it?

Dont be discouraged by rejection. We dont know how AI works but you can try getting your photo straight and get more focus on the board. Whats this bulletin board about?

It looks generally acceptable, but the description “Falu hirdetőtábla” (Village Bulletin Board) is vague. What’s the name of the village? What sort of notices are they?

As TjoeMi says, straighten up the picture and have the board more in the centre. If that came through into general voting I’d be tempted to reject for the orientation.

These are minor things though, I think that wayspot should be generally acceptable as is.

Pretty much anything can go on the board: city events, community stuff maintanence, anyone selling anything, or someone looking for a home or garage for sale, missing pets, funeral notices. There are no strict rules and anyone can use it.

Do note that these boards are not liked by the AI, especially when they have posters on it. From my previous experiences it’s hard to get them to the communith because of the AI rejecting most of the time. Unfortunately we don’t know how the AI works.

Oh, I didn’t think the name of the village would be important. And I will try to get a better picture next time. Thank you for the advice!

I have had a couple of these accepted straight away, both where official “Village Parish Council Noticeboards”, went straight past AI then Accepted by local reviewers without issue.

Some feedback on your reviewing - while this photo is not the best, it doesn’t even come close to being rejectable for “orientation.” Orientation should be used when the photo is completely sideways or upside down, or when they took it at a “dutch angle”, or when they cut off part of the object in the photo (like when the photo is too close). The point of the photo is so that we can identify the object in the real world and this is completely identifiable to human eyes.
