Its a community noticeboard inside a flat. The original rejection reasons were “temporary or not distinct” and “private property”. Both of which are wrong imo
The appeal rejection was “its a common noticeboard jnside a building” or something like that
This is definitely worth retrying ONLY IF you can clearly demonstrate how your nomination meets any of the three qualifying criteria of being a great place to exercise, explore or be social with others.
Based upon the information provided, I would have to agree with the review decision that this object is a generic notice board of no significance to the overall community (i.e. excluding the residents of the apartment complex where it is located).
Just to point out, people living in the flat have to be excluded? Why cant the flat itself be a community? Like, my parents steeet sees itslef as a community and theres less people in that street than in this flat.
Ive had noticeboards rejected several times recently and then accepted on appeal. Might be worth a resubmit first to fix the typos, and then appeal if that is rejected?
To me, noticeboards support all 3 criteria by enabling people to find ways to be social, exercise or explore.
Yeah ive resubmitted and fixed the mistakes. But the first appeal failed because they said it was a srandars notice board. So hoping the second attampt passes lol
Thats so annoying, as you can see mine are pretty standard ie not artistic or anything. Its the notices and the sharing that makes them special, not the board they’re fixed to!
Frankly community seems to emphasise more on not distinct. But thing like board and trail marker usually not really artistic so may need appeal to get it through.
