That’s a good example of something that is not directly sanctioned by rejection criteria, but doesn’t fulfill acceptance criteria either:
Exploration: The DMV is not a place people would find interesting, go to see it or talk about
Excercise: The DMV has nothing to do with excercising
Socialising: The DMV is not a place where people would be socialising in or at. Realistically no one would invite their friends to go there, for example

socializzare lo puoi fare perche 3 volte alla settimana al mattino è pieno di persone che aspettano dare l’esame scritto per la patente in 2 turni diversi per cui vedi gente che arriva alle otto e sostiene il loro esame alle 11 o 12, quindi se avete sostenuto un esame all’universita o d’altro tipo ben sapete che in quelle occasioni si riesce sempre a socializzare per l’ansia 
, inoltre si fanno tutte le revisioni auto anche quelle dei grossi mezzi per cui le persone devono aspettare anche diverse ore e non possono lasciare le proprie auto da sole appunto a manca 10 metri a destra c’è un bar per l’attesa, sostengo tutto questo per esperienza dato che ho sostenuto l’esame in questa struttura. Per esplorazione ed esercizio sono d’accordo con te.
l’importante è che non venga rigettato dalla ml per passare alla votazione e avere almeno l’opportunita del voto ma soprattutto che non violi nessun criterio del regolamento
well socialising for the Niantic criteria doesn’t mean that places where people would go out of necessity to those places would be accepatble.
A supermarket is also a place many people go to and are stuck toegther during their grocery shopping but it’s not really voluntarily, or that they would actually interact with people there realistically

nei suoi regolamenti è accettabile il supermercato appunto anch’io avevo quel dubbio perche avevano suggerito il contrario detto questo l’importante almeno secondo il mio parere finche non si infrangono i regolamenti e puo favorire la diffusione del gioco soprattutto in posti dove non ci sono pokestop va bene.

But you don’t go to the DMV to be social. It is not a popular meeting place. People would rather NOT be there. This is not a place designed to encourage being social. Just because you can talk to people while you are there does not mean you were encouraged to share the experience.

Io mi limito soltanto a seguire il regolamento per non avere il ban.
Da qualcosa si deve pure iniziare per conversare con le persone, detto questo non mi hai saputo dire quali criteri di wayfarer la ml considera non soddisfatti e rifiuta la mia richiesta

This forum is a great place to discuss the interpretation of criteria. And as part of that we frequently have exchanges around how a particular place may or may not fit.
More commonly it is about individual locations and whether that specific place would work. Those do not set a precedent for other locations.
When you start a discussion, you have to accept that sometimes the outcome might not be what you want. You have sought advice here about this location and the answer is that this sort of place does not meet criteria, so is not eligible.
I appreciate that you are keen to make the location fit criteria and guidelines, but you are trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. It won’t work.
It is frustrating for you but it is best to accept the advice that has been given and let this one go.

no no ma nessun problema ognuno ha le proprie idee è questo va bene ma quello che volevo capire essenzialmente è il criterio di wayfarer che la ml ha interpretato come non idoneo, da quello che voi mi dite dovrebbe essere il criterio della posizione e non qualcosa legato al titolo, foto o descrizione giusto.
They don’t tell us what the machine learning ai looks for. But I have found that a great photo making clear that my nomination is an eligible point of interest will be allowed to go into voting. I personally believe that the photo is the most important part in avoiding a “Wayfarer criteria” rejection. It is possible that it is reading the sign to determine that this one is not eligible.

quindi la foto potrebbe essere il problema appunto vorrei soltanto passare la verifica della ml e arrivare alla fase di votazione, pero come DMV era un luogo abbastanza particolare ho preferito chiedere prima di continuare a fare richieste
Anch’io sto iniziando a pensarla così, perché avevo chiesto in un altro topic riguardo al rifiuto della fermata dell’ascensore pubblico come Waypoint e loro avevano suggerito che non fosse un luogo adatto secondo i criteri di Wayfarer, ma io non ero d’accordo. Alla fine, ho rifatto le foto e ripresentato la candidatura. Ora è in fase di revisione da parte di Niantic spero bene, perché secondo me rispetta tutti i loro criteri!
The fact that it doesn’t meet criteria (as you have been told by multiple different people - you are unlikely to obtain different feedback) is a much bigger problem with the nomination than it not passing the ML check, and it’s not passing the ML check for good reason, therefore the rest of the discussion is kind of moot. I would not recommend spamming multiple explicitly ineligible nominations.
