Unfortunately, Ingress agents will not accept your invitation because the Wayfarer forum is no longer associated with Ingress.
Instead, you should join the community groups and social networking sites where you as an Ingress agent will be discussing OPR after the OPR starts.
In addition, Ingress will be hosting Anomaly next weekend.
You can ask several agents there with pre-PoGo anniversary medals, multiple pre-COVID-19 Anomaly medals, silver or higher Seer medals, and platinum or higher Recon medals what they think about Wayfarer and portal quality. They will be able to give you their opinions on the quality of Wayfarer and Portal.
PoGo will also be hosting a wild area starting tomorrow.
So you might want to ask the community of trainers who don’t know Wayfarer what they think.
You should also try to join trainer communities and social networking sites that may not be interested in Wayfarer at all.
You will get a completely different opinion than in this forum.
You will get a good insight.
I know none of the local PoGo and Ingress players, and none of them are here in the forums. My local Campfire group for PoGo isn’t very active in Wayfarer (a few are), so there aren’t many that have an opinion about this like I do.
They are still welcome to the forums, as you use your Niantic ID to login (Apple, Google, and/or Facebook). We still have a good deal of Ingress-only users here, including some ambos. The forums are completely seperate from PoGo/Wayfarer, and you do not have to be a part of them to have a Niantic ID. Maybe check out the Niantic ID help center before saying something that is incorrect:
I’d encourage you to review your comments, as they tend to be misleading and sometimes have mis/disinformation that can be confusing.
Oh how sad. I’m Pogo only and don’t participate in additional groups to protect my mental health
But if you ever talk to those again please share a link to the forum and tell them here are people how love to talk with them

So, moving back to what this topic is mostly about…
What do we think the new review system will be like for Recon? Will it be local based like with Wayfarer, or more global based, since they’re starting with L16/Recursed agents being able to review first?
What type of review system will be used? Will it be up/down/IDK voting? Will the star rating system be reintroduced?
Will agents below L16/Recursed no longer be able to submit nominations and edits starting on Nov 10th, or will the L8 requirement stay in place for submissions?
Just wanted to bring up some questions to think of before Nov 10th comes and what might be the future of reviewing/submitting in Ingress. I really enjoy submitting edits in Ingress and have greatly improved the map in my area, but I’m still L8, so I think you can see why I may have some questions.
I think it’ll be mostly the same as Wayfarer going by the help pages, at least for now

Well, that doesn’t answer everything I’m pondering. And there could be changes once Nov 10th rolls around.
Maybe there will be answers from Brian Rose in some form tomorrow. Maybe in audio formats somewhere

Seeing reports that Recon is live NOW for eligible Ingress agents at https://opr.ingress.com/
It’s up.. it looks VERY much like Wayfarer
If anyone would like to provide screenshots for those of us not yet eligible, that would be awesome!
Hey yo! @DTrain2002 here you go.
Yeah, just want to see the review page and Contribution Management mainly. On-boarding isn’t that important to me.
@DTrain2002 there is no difference here at all. One thing is all the POI’s I nominated from Ingress ported over. So, I can see them here and in Wayfarer.
Oh goody, they have appeals, now I need to go through all my old submissions thst got accepted through appeal since the split lmao
Also, its a bit (to a lot when reviewing) slower than wayfarer

Worth noting that Upgrades are not a thing on Recon/OPR
Now this makes me wonder if you aren’t voting on just your area, but globally. I’d imagine I’d most likely need upgrades to get some of my nominations/edits approved by the community.
