Injusticia

Se me hace una injusticia que porque errores de gramática me estén negando una pokeparadas la cual creo que es algo absurdo ya que nadie se toma el tiempo para esta leyendo cada texto de las poke paradas

You can submit wayspot in any language you are comfortable with. It doesnt have to be english. If you share your complete nomination (photo, supporting information, loc, etc), we can make some advise to improve it.

Second, its in your best interest to provide correct information so that reviewer have more confident in accepting. Its wrong assumption to said that no reviewer read each text.

Hello and welcome @tlayolliking

I’m sorry to hear that you are frustrated with the nomination process. @TjoeMi has some good advice. I personally try and to have a descriptive title, relevant description, photos that show the object in its surroundings, etc. I really try to have nothing that the reviewers could question in my nomination.

That said, both the Title and Description could be updated after a wayspot is accepted. So when I review, I do consider that if there is a small typo.

Note that I have moved your thread Nomination Support as that is a better fit for your discussion.

Please share your specific nomination or ask more questions. We would love to help.

I read text on Wayspots often, and amend if incorrect.

I would not reject just for a typo as this can be easily fixed at a later date but for a full on “no longer makes sense” description I would.

If I get a review that I am 50/50 on whether it should be accepted then a poor description could knock it in to a Reject, the same with a good description where the nominator has taken the time and checked the text could raise it up to an Accept.

If someone just hasn’t bothered with a good title and good description, I reject for either or both. Examples are a title of “public footpath”, a description of “A public footpath in Ware” or a misspelling of a key placename in different ways in the title and description.

If someone can’t take the effort to spend even a little time submitting the nomination, they don’t deserve to get it. I know it’s for the database and the community, but often the nominator will be getting advantage from the wayspot.

(Not true for bulk submitters such as me, as I’ve got plenty I’ve never gone back to, but bulk submitters tend not to be quite so lazy.)
