The door the the library opens up onto the street, so users of the library have to stand in possible traffic.

Granted, that street has traffic calming bollards present, but that just makes it into a cul-de-sac.
It certainly faces the street so you would have to stand there.
However the long term bollards show there is no through traffic here. There is enough space for a bike to safely pass but not a car. So although standing on the street to access the books in this instance it looks safe and it has been there for over a decade.
The bench where you clearly would sit with your feet on the street is deemed safe. And indeed a pleasant place to sit.
This old view even had a temporary bench on the street.
Thanks for the appeal, @nexushoratio We took another look at the Wayspot in question and decided that it does not meet our criteria for removal at this time.
