I was wondering if a fairy village will be a good waystop,we also sometimes move the little pieces to see is anyone can find out where it was put
This is not enough information to know if this could be a good wayspot. Is it on SFPRP (single family private residential property? Then no. Is it set up in a park display for kids to interact with? Then probably. What else can you tell us about this, and do you have any links to prove it is a permanent set up?
Well just made it this year for my neices who live across from me to enjoy and sometimes their friends from school will come over and look and find what ornament has been moved, and then next year we’ll change it as looks this year
Have also been trying to get the garage that is just down the street from accepted since the northland bus also stops there as well
That sounds like it is on your property and ineligible then. Even with permission of the owner, if it is single family private residential property, it cannot be a Wayspot.
This does not seem like it would meet any of the core criteria of a great place to exercise, explore, or be social. A bus stop is seen as just infrastructure unless it is a big hub like a transit station. A gas station is just a generic business most of the time.
It is posted in many places, but here is a good link to read about the criteria:
It also has a hardware store inside as well since where I live is a small town
Those businesses aren’t really great places to exercise, explore, or be social. Now if you have evidence that people gather there for a weekly bingo game or something, you might have a case, but it would be very difficult to convince reviewers that it meets criteria, even with the extra function.
There is a very good topic here for rural submitters. See if this helps you find some things to submit that are more likely to be successful: Tips for Rural Nominators
What can I nominate so that people like who cannot drive everywhere and don’t have use a cell phone as a phone because they have a learners disability
This game can only be played on mobile phones. I don’t understand this question.
Probably nothing unless you are in an apartment building with a common area with something in it or adjacent to a park. Not being able to leave the house does not affect criteria.
Hello @patsy1985
I am going to split your post into its own topic so we can focus on your situation.
Would be possible to say the area that you are looking to get pokestops?
That way we can look around.
Is the person with the disability able to go out with someone else. Have they got a phone that can act as a hot spot for the person who has a disability’s device?
The person with the learners disability would be myself so because of that I cannot use my phone to call people like I should only to play games like pokemon go but I do walk bike around and have been trying to have my phone as a Hotspot as well
Hey there @patsy1985, so glad you want to add to the map and network of POI’s. I think you’d touched the right people to help you with some ideas. Like @elijustrying said… would you feel comfortable sharing your (nearest) location with us? We can look around and see if there is anything we see that may fit the current criteria? **Disclaimer, until the new map is launched we’d be looking at an older map that hasn’t been update since May 23, 2025. That being said. Me and a few other like solving puzzles and looking for the overlooked in areas.
The nearest location of longitude and latitude is the miros gas station which also has a bus stop and the hardware store 47.9119° N latitude and 82.6053° W longitude.
Got a quick question,if the homes are not acceptable waystops then when you request a waystop why is the resendental home in there as well as primary school yet I can’t get either accepted as a pokestop
Those coordinates drop me in the middle of a forest in Canada. Are you sure that’s a gas station?
Do you mean the categories we fill in when submitting? Those are optional and don’t mean anything as to whether something is eligible- they are just descriptive.
Ok
Thanks for that further information.
We talked a few months ago.
The problem then was that you could only use wifi at home.
Have you got a way to walk around and play the game?
Is this the location? Google Search
