Perhaps we have different perceptions of commercial kitchens.
Commercial kitchens with sharp objects, hard objects, extremely hot objects and things boiling— all shifting at high speeds with slippery surfaces and bodies moving about seems like an environment that can be a hazard to children, even adults.
I dont think we need kitchen argument here. OP are not trying to move wayspot into empty cell. He is just trying to “correct” it to where he sit as patron. He have learn his lesson that its not allowed. Thats all. He have appeal and got rejected but hopefully staff read here and might give different opinion than appeal team

Using help chat protects you as well as ensuring any moves are dealt with properly and with the relevant evidence 
Submitting location edits in game can be hit and miss and there’s not much opportunity to provide context for the move, and as you’ve seen can have unintended consequences.
