I uploaded some Pokestops in Pokémon go like a week ago, but they still have not been added to the game🥲
I am unclear on the status of these. Have you looked at your contributions page?
If they have been accepted already, I have this written up for when I see a wheresmypokestop question:
I know the prompt tells you that you are submitting a “Pokestop” but you are actually submitting a Wayspot to the database. The Wayspot can only become a Pokestop or gym if it is alone in a level 17 S2 cell. (Eligible Wayspots are added to Pokemon Go in a sync that happens once a day normally. If it has not been more than 48 hours since it was accepted, it could just be that it has not synced in yet.)
Wayspots that are not eligible to be Pokestops or gyms still have the potential to be used as Power Spots. It appears that there is a 22m distance requirement from any Pokestop or gym for it to be used this way, and it seems there is a limit of two active Power Spots per L14 S2 cell, the same size used to determine gyms. We explorers haven’t figured out the schedule for syncing in new Power Spots, but it is not on a daily basis at this time.
If you would like to leave the title and location, someone here with access to external resources may be able to confirm if there is indeed an issue with the S2 cells. But since the sale to Scopely has affected these Niantic (now NianticSpatial) maps being updated, it may be more difficult. The gps coordinates where you pinned the Wayspot will be after the second photo in the email you received when you submitted the nomination, but the pin may have been moved in voting. Do be aware this is a public forum if you would rather not reveal your location. I realize this is a lot of information to dump on someone, so please ask if you have more questions.
Thank you for this information, it is helpful and I do understand the S2 Cells thing. The waypoints I have taken pictures of, given titles and descriptions of may be close to each other, but on the Pokémon Go app there is no other waypoints on the map. I have uploaded the waypoints but they have not yet been accepted into Pokémon Go. I would send the locations of the Waypoints, but I don’t seem to have the email with the details.
If you log in to this website are the uploaded wayspots listed there? If they are can you screenshot please.
If they are not there then something has gone wrong.
Have you checked all emails that you have used for Niantic as you should get a receipt of the submission.
I do not see any uploaded Wayspots when I log in, but I could be looking in the wrong places. I have checked my emails too, but nothing from Niantic.

When I refreshed it, it changed for half a second and said “Begin Reviewing” but then changed back to the picture I uploaded.
Oh, what I meant by they have not yet been accepted into Pokémon Go, is that I am pretty sure they have not been accepted yet
the review process can take up to a few months. if you are not getting an answer quickly enough for your liking, you can earn an upgrade by reviewing yourself. that could also get some of the other nominations in the review pool decided and out of the way to help yours get shown to reviewers. applying an upgrade to a nomination sends it to a wider review pool. it does not make it any more or less likely to be accepted.
you will get an email when a decision has been made. i don’t understand why you can’t get to the contributions page to see your pending contributions.

oh do you have a pop up blocker or something like that which may be interfering with being able to answer the captcha? i am not good with technology issues.
Yeah, I was think it could take a little while, another Waypoint I submitted only took a week. So I will probably just wait it out, see what happens.
